Overview
Clark Jennings is the managing director for C&M International’s Southeast Asia regional office, based in Singapore, where he manages the firm’s operations in this dynamic regional hub, and advises multinationals and their trade associations in using international policy tools to support their corporate strategic priorities. He guides clients across a range of industries to navigate the evolving regulatory, policy, and political environment across the region, including within the APEC and ASEAN economic forums. Clark brings particular experience on a broad range of digital policy issues, including AI governance, privacy and data protection regulation, and cross border data flows, as well as investment matters and the development of quality infrastructure in the APAC region. Clark currently serves on the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, the largest and most active business association in Southeast Asia.

Update on Singapore’s Cybersecurity (Amendment) Bill 2023
The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) is currently in the process of introducing the first ever amendments to its Cybersecurity Act (CS Act) 2018 via the Cybersecurity (Amendment) Bill. Through these Amendments, CSA is looking to account for advancements in Singapore’s technology and business landscape since 2018. It is also hoping to holistically enhance the cybersecurity of not only the country’s critical information infrastructure (CII) but also other digital infrastructure important for Singapore’s economy.
