Omar A. Galiano

Mr. Galiano's prior experience working in the automotive industry provided him with a practical understanding of a variety of mechanical and electrical automotive technologies. He is also a named inventor on multiple issued patents, which provides him with a unique insight into the invention process.

Mr. Galiano represents a wide variety of domestic and international clients ranging from large multi-national corporations to individual inventors and entrepreneurs. He has extensive experience in the areas of semiconductors, electro-optical devices, printers, electrical circuits, internal combustion engines, fuel pumps, hybrid power systems, transmissions, axles, brake systems, fuel cell systems, various hybrid and electrical vehicle control systems, gas turbine engines, and various medical devices including surgical instruments, stents and guidewires.

Mr. Galiano has an active pro bono practice. Most recently, he has assisted clients in matters before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. He is also an active volunteer at the D.C. Landlord Tenant Resource Center, which provides free legal information to both unrepresented landlords and tenants who have residential housing disputes in the District of Columbia.

Mr. Galiano graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in biomedical engineering. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he was named a Franklin Pierce Intellectual Property Law Scholar.
