Overview

Monica DiFonzo Sterling is a counsel in the Washington, D.C. office of Crowell & Moring, where she is a member of the firm’s Government Contracts Group.

Monica has an active government contracts counseling and litigation practice focusing on False Claims Act investigations, bid protests, federal regulatory and ethics compliance, and government contracts disputes before the Government Accountability Office and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. 

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Monica was an associate at an AmLaw 50 firm in its Litigation & Arbitration group. She gained valuable government contracts experience while clerking for the Honorable Thomas C. Wheeler at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Monica also served as an adjunct professor of legal writing at the George Washington University Law School.

During law school, Monica was a member of The George Washington International Law Review.
