Juan A. Arteaga
Overview
When faced with high risk and sensitive antitrust investigations and litigation, companies, boards of directors, and executives turn to Juan for strategic advice and effective advocacy. As a former Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, Juan has successfully guided numerous Fortune 500 corporations, technology companies, global financial institutions, healthcare providers and insurers, higher education institutions, cyber security and defense companies, and individuals through a broad range of civil (both merger and conduct) and criminal antitrust investigations conducted by the DOJ, Federal Trade Commission, and state attorneys general. As an experienced litigator, Juan has successfully represented leading corporations, executives, and directors in government enforcement actions and “bet the company” private antitrust litigation, including class actions and multidistrict litigation. Juan also has extensive experience representing corporations and financial institutions in complex commercial litigation, including securities litigation, shareholder derivative actions, and breach of contract disputes.
