Overview

Charlynne Rejaian is a counsel in the firm’s Orange County office practicing in the Antitrust and Competition Group. Charlynne’s practice focuses on pursuing and maximizing claims in complex antitrust settlements on behalf of a broad range of national and international clients. She primarily represents companies in the food and beverage industry with achieving recovery through pursuit of class action claims, contractual arrangements, and other recovery streams in the supply chain. Her clients in this space include manufacturers, distributors, grocers, retailers, restaurant chains and franchisees, foodservice and concessions operators, hotels, hospitals, universities, and theme parks.

Charlynne was recognized as a National Trial Lawyer Top 40 under 40 in Civil Litigation in 2019. She is an experienced litigator in state and federal court in class actions, commercial litigation, antitrust and unfair competition, franchise law, product liability, mass torts and personal injury, and trademark infringement. Prior to joining Crowell, Charlynne was an associate attorney at a renowned boutique law firm, where she represented clients in all aspects of litigation, including trial, pretrial, mediation, and appeal, as well as in ADR procedures.

Charlynne is also dedicated to giving back to the community and represents clients in pro bono consumer law matters involving deceptive financing and elder law abuses.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Charlynne had a career in distributor management, sales, and marketing in the beverage industry and worked for leading global spirits and beverage importers Pernod Ricard USA, FIJI Water, and agencies of Allied-Domecq and Bacardi USA. Charlynne is experienced and knowledgeable with the dynamics of supplier-distributor-retailer relationships, as well as tied-house laws and regulatory restrictions affecting the alcohol beverage industry.

During law school, Charlynne was the editor-in-chief of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team and competed internationally in Hong Kong and Vienna (advanced to Round of 16 out of 300+ law schools). She was also a member of the San Diego International Law Journal, a recipient of the Best Advocate Award for appellate advocacy, and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for her academic achievements in international business and commercial arbitration coursework.
