Carmen C. Barboza
Overview
Carmen Barboza is an innovative leader who has spent over a decade dedicated to law firm Human Resources. In the role of CHRO, Carmen leads the firmwide Human Resources function including staff talent management and development, as well as firmwide benefits, well-being programming, employee relations and retention, and policy development and implementation. She also oversees our DC Office Support Services department, aligning administrative needs with our business professionals across practice groups and administrative departments.
Carmen is a certified professional coach, as well as a current member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), and the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), Capital Chapter (ALACC). During her tenure as a member of the ALACC she served as Chair of the HR Section and as a member of the Executive Committee.
