Anna Kufta

Prior to joining Crowell, Anna clerked for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. In this role, Anna gained experience researching and drafting memorandum on a wide range of legal topics, which included resolving complex legal procedural and substantive issues.

Anna received her J.D. from Howard University School of Law, where she was a member of the Howard Law Journal. She was also a student attorney for Howard University’s Criminal Justice Clinic. In that position, she represented clients with criminal misdemeanor cases, coordinated with U.S. attorneys to negotiate plea bargains, and assisted clients with completing probation requirements.
