Rebecca Messing HaiglerMPH, MBA

At Crowell Health Solutions Rebecca guides health tech companies, investors and startups to develop the health economics fundamentals required for commercial success and revenue diversification.  She partners with management teams to bring the ‘payor perspective’ creating strong value propositions, health plan ROI + evidence development and effective go-to-market execution.

She also serves as an advisor to the Kennedy Forum and Redesign Health with specific expertise in behavioral health value based care models. Recently serving on the board of Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), she was a member of the finance committee and chaired the Global Conference Behavioral Health summit.

Rebecca was previously Health Economics Lead at Verily Life Sciences, an Alphabet company. She was on the founding team and governance board of several Verily portfolio companies including Granular Insurance, OneFifteen - a tech enabled substance use disorder treatment ecosystem, Primasun - a JV with ResMed to address obstructive sleep apnea, and also served as Chief Development Officer of Onduo. 

Rebecca gained invaluable payor operations experience leading the Northern California ACO Program at Blue Shield of CA. She also held strategic leadership positions at the Chartis Group, Sg2 Healthcare Intelligence and developed global market access expertise via Abbott Labs’ management rotational program.

Completing her graduate studies in business and public health at UC Berkeley, Rebecca first earned her bachelor's degree in engineering at the University of Michigan. She is a member of WBL - Women Business Leaders of the US Healthcare Industry and resides in San Francisco with her family.
