Alexander Kramer, a former assistant chief in the Department of Justice Criminal Division’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit, joins Crowell & Moring as partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Kramer brings more than 15 years of experience as a federal prosecutor and in private practice to the firm’s White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement Group.

Crowell & Moring elected 12 new partners effective January 1, 2025. The firm also promoted four lawyers to the senior counsel and 25 associates to counsel.

Stephen Holland, former senior health counsel on the Committee on Energy & Commerce, U.S. House of Representatives, has joined Crowell & Moring, bringing more than a decade of legislative experience on Capitol Hill.

Stephen Bentfield, former vice president and group general counsel at DaVita Integrated Kidney Care, has joined Crowell & Moring’s Health Care Group as a partner in the Denver office, expanding the firm’s regulatory and transactional depth in the health care industry.
