Washington, D.C. – October 9, 2012: Crowell & Moring LLP has bolstered its Health Care Group with the addition of three partners in the firm's Los Angeles office. The trio includes Kevin Kroeker, Peter Roan, and Scott J. Moore, who join the firm from Locke Lord LLP. With a particular focus on handling regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters for managed care and other health care organizations, the team brings more than 75 years of combined experience to the firm's health care practice.

On January 8, 2019, the U.S. Supreme Court in Henry Schein, Inc. v. Archer and White Sales, Inc.,586 U.S. ___ (2019) (Slip Op.), unanimously held that a federal court cannot decide whether a contract’s arbitration clause applies to a dispute if the contract gives that authority to an arbitrator – even when the argument for arbitration is “wholly groundless.”
