Washington – November 24, 2021: Six members of Crowell & Moring’s International Dispute Resolutions Group will participate in panels in Washington Arbitration Week 2021, a forum on international arbitration for the Washington, D.C. legal community and the international and foreign community connected to it.  

Washington – July 20, 2021: Crowell & Moring’s International Dispute Resolution Group has been included in the 14th edition of Global Arbitration Review's GAR 100, a guide to the top 100 law firms with international arbitration capabilities. GAR is one of the leading journals of public and private arbitration.

Washington – July 1, 2021: Latinvex has named Ian A. Laird, co-chair of Crowell & Moring’s International Dispute Resolution Group, as one of Latin America’s Top 100 Lawyers. The list is developed by Latinvex’ editorial and research staff using data from their annual survey of international law firms, as well as publicly available data. This is the third consecutive year Laird has been selected for the list.

Washington – June 1, 2018: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that Cari N. Stinebower, a partner in the firm’s International Trade and White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement groups, and Ashley R. Riveira, a counsel in the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Group, have been recognized by Latinvex as "Top 100 Female Lawyers" for the second consecutive year. Stinebower and Riveira were noted in the "FCPA & Fraud" and "Arbitration and Litigation" categories, respectively.

Washington, D.C. – March 18, 2016: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that Khan Resources Inc. and the Government of Mongolia announced on March 7, 2016 that they have agreed on the payment to Khan of US$70 million on or before May 15, 2016 and settlement of all outstanding matters pursuant to the international arbitration Award received by Khan. The Award, rendered on March 2, 2015, compensated Khan for the expropriation of its mining licenses by the Government of Mongolia in 2009. The highly esteemed arbitral tribunal was composed of New Zealander Mr. David Williams, QC (President); Canadian Maitre Yves Fortier, QC; and Belgian Dr. Bernard Hanotiau. The settlement and payment of the Award is a culmination of five and a half years of work by a dedicated and talented Crowell & Moring team of international law and arbitration attorneys. Washington, D.C. – October 16, 2015: Crowell & Moring LLP has been named to Latinvex's list of top 15 arbitration law firms serving Latin America.

Washington, D.C. – January 17, 2013: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce it has elected seven attorneys to the firm's partnership effective January 1, 2013. Washington, D.C. – October 6, 2006: Crowell & Moring LLP associate and recent Harvard Law School graduate Ashley Ryan Riveira has co-authored Presumed Equal, a guide to what America’s top women lawyers really think about their firms. Working with law school colleague and co-author Lindsay Blohm, Riveira used anonymous survey responses from nearly 4,000 female associates and partners at 105 of the nation’s most prestigious firms to explore and rank attitudes of female lawyers about their firms.
