Please join us for the next edition of Third Thursday – Crowell & Moring’s Labor and Employment Update, a webinar series dedicated to helping our clients stay on top of developing law and emerging compliance issues.

New York state, city, and local governmental bodies have been busy enacting and implementing changes to employment law for employers throughout the state. Many of these changes will go into effect in 2024, including new rules on employee severance agreements, updates to paid leave laws, restrictions on employee discipline, increased salaries for certain categories of employees exempt from overtime requirements and other developments. There are also noteworthy decisions from federal and state courts in New York that impact the workplace. During this webinar, we will discuss recent developments in New York state and local law, as well as a forecast of trends we may see in the coming year. We will also discuss best practices for New York employers facing these ongoing changes.
