Los Angeles – July 16, 2024: The Los Angeles Business Journal named Crowell & Moring partners Jennifer S. Romano and Agustin D. Orozco  to its list of Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys 2024. The list recognizes lawyers in Los Angeles “who go to the proverbial mat to fight for their clients before judges and jury have their own unique sets of skills.”

Romano is co-chair of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department and a member of the firm's Management Board. She defends clients against consumer class actions and in high stakes commercial litigation. She recently obtained a defense judgment after a several week class action trial. Romano’s clients include major health plans, retail and consumer products companies, and a major university.

The LABJ states that Romano “has established herself as a thought leader in the legal industry.”

Orozco is a member of the firm’s White Collar and Regulatory Group, where he represents clients in criminal and civil government investigations and enforcement actions. He also represents and counsels clients on matters involving federal, state, and local government contracts. Prior to rejoining the firm as a partner, Orozco was an assistant U.S. attorney in the Public Corruption & Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.

The LABJ noted that “clients trust Agustin Orozco to lead and navigate complex white collar cases and investigations, manage sophisticated pretrial litigation, and skillfully argue challenging cases at trial.”
