Washington – October 21, 2020: The Foundation for Defense of Democracies named Crowell & Moring partner Caroline Brown a 2021 National Security Fellow. Members of the fellow class include bipartisan national security professionals from the military, the government, journalism, and the private sector.

At the U.S. Department of the Treasury, she worked on sanctions, AML, and other national security issues relevant to the nation’s financial system as an attorney for the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and in the Department’s Office of General Counsel, Enforcement and Intelligence, which provides counsel to the Undersecretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.
