Partner Agustin Orozco Elected to Federal Bar Association of Los Angeles Board of Directors

Los Angeles – September 12, 2022: TheFederal Bar Association of Los Angeles (FBA-LA) has elected Crowell & Moring partner Agustin D. Orozco to serve on its Board of Directors.

FBA-LA is one of the largest chapters of the national Federal Bar Association. It is committed to supporting federal practitioners, the federal courts, and the greater Central District of California community. The chapter was chartered in 1937, making it one of the oldest chapters in the nation. The Board of Directors includes judges, civil practitioners, criminal defense attorneys, prosecutors, transactional lawyers, administrative agency lawyers, and attorneys who focus on intellectual property, labor and employment, bankruptcy, environmental, civil rights, and class actions, as well as an array of court administrators and academics.

Orozco is a member of the firm’s White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement and Government Contracts groups. Prior to rejoining Crowell in January 2022, Orozco was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Public Corruption & Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. As a former federal prosecutor, he is a skilled trial lawyer focused on directing complex white collar cases and investigations, handling contentious and sophisticated pretrial litigation, and successfully proving highly difficult cases at trial.
