Crowell & Moring Welcomes Record-Breaking Summer Associate Class

Washington – May 18, 2021: Redoubling its commitment to diversity, Crowell & Moring’s incoming summer associate class is more than 75 percent women and diverse, the most in the firm’s history.

The 2021 virtual program kicked off on Monday, May 17, and will last ten weeks. The summer associates will work alongside firm lawyers to assist with client deliverables, learning how to provide high-level client service, as well as the inner workings of an AmLaw 100 law firm.

“We are so excited to welcome the most diverse summer associate class in firm history to Crowell & Moring,” said Thomas Lorenzen, Crowell & Moring hiring partner and co-chair of the firm's Environment & Natural Resources Group. “The program we have developed for the summer will give these law students hands-on experience in the legal field as they look toward their post-law school careers.”

The summer associates hail from leading law schools around the United States, including American University Washington College of Law; Cornell Law School; Duke University School of Law; Fordham Law School; The George Washington University Law School; Howard University School of Law; Loyola Law School; Thurgood Marshall School of Law; University of California, Irvine School of Law; University of California, Los Angeles School of Law; University of Chicago Law; University of Michigan Law School; and University of Southern California Gould School of Law.

These chargers connect behind-the-meter to draw spare electrical supply from adjacent buildings, eliminating the need for utility permitting and coordination.
