Firm News | 2 min read | 05.04.23

Washington – May 4, 2023: Crowell Health Solutions has launched Trends in Transformation, a new blog that will provide the latest developments in digital health, value-based care, and health equity. The blog offers insights on policy developments and innovative trends to help health care companies keep track of developments and understand fast-moving policy activities to help them achieve their strategic goals in a dynamic health care market.

The blog comes just one year after Crowell & Moring launched Crowell Health Solutions as a strategic consulting firm to help health care organizations and technology companies transform health care by improving patient care and health outcomes, advancing health equity, and lowering health care costs through solutions like digital health innovations and value-based health care models.

“This blog serves as a go-to resource for our clients to stay up-to-date on the latest transformative health policy trends,” said Jodi Daniel, managing director of Crowell Health Solution. “Although we launched Crowell Health Solutions a year ago, we have been working with innovative health care organizations and health tech companies for a much longer period of time and look forward to sharing our experience, insights and analysis on our new Trends in Transformation blog.”

Some of the first posts to the blog include discussions on rapid developments and competition in artificial intelligence (AI)food insecurity, a look at efforts to address health equity and affordability in 2023, updates to Medicaid redetermination and unwinding, and overview of ongoing discussions around Medicare coverage of remote patient monitoring services.

(“Atomic Alchemy”), a leading innovator in radioisotope production. Oklo intends to use this strategic acquisition to establish a more reliable domestic supply chain for high-value radioisotopes critical to healthcare, research, and defense sectors and provides synergies to Oklo’s fuel recycling and nuclear energy businesses. Demand for radioisotopes is expected to increase significantly over the next decade, while global supply struggles to keep pace due to aging reactor infrastructure and a fragmented global supply chain, which at present is dominated by countries outside the United States. Atomic Alchemy intends to be a low-cost U.S. radioisotope producer that can provide a secure and domestic supply of radioisotopes to U.S. companies commercializing innovative radioisotope applications. With its proprietary VIPR® technology, Atomic Alchemy is building the first scalable production facility to provide a reliable, sustainable source of high-value radioisotopes. Using a vertically integrated model and fuel recycling, in partnership with Oklo, Atomic Alchemy is transforming isotope production to address global shortages, support critical applications, and strengthen national security. The core deal team included Samuel Holland Edwards, Jon O’Connell, Justin Lurie, and Ryan Flynn....
