Crowell & Moring’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Group Named a Law360 Practice Group of the Year

Washington – February 8, 2024: Crowell & Moring’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Group has been named a Practice Group of the Year for 2023 by Law360.

Crowell’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Group guides and counsels businesses globally as they operate in an environment marked by evolving and complex data protection laws and relentless cyber attacks by both private and state-sponsored actors. The group includes lawyers with extensive government, in-house, consulting, and technical experience across multiple industries.

In a profile about the group, Law360 reported: “Launched about 10 years ago, Crowell & Moring’s privacy and cybersecurity group has evolved into one of the top practices in the country, advising major corporations on the types of technology issues that have come to affect any business with a networked computer.”

Additionally, Law360 noted that the firm’s “combination of technology savvy and litigation [experience] translated into Crowell & Moring's successful shutdown of major sources of ransomware attacks.”
