Trade Association Breakfast Series: GDPR and Beyond

The European Union’s General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) has had a vast impact in how companies operate in today’s data-driven global economy. Please join us for breakfast and an open discussion with C&M’s GDPR focused partner Maarten Stassen, along with C&M's Cyber and Privacy partners Jeff Poston and Peter Miller. They will discuss how companies have responded to recent implementation of GDPR in Europe, what companies can anticipate moving forward, and how trade associations can prepare their members. Potential interoperability between the GDPR and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Cross- Border Privacy Rules (CBPRs), promoted by the US and other Pacific-Rim economies, will be noted.
