A centered life is the key to a successful career. Crowell offers competitive compensation and progressive benefits that set our firm apart and ahead of the industry. We could not do that without input from our people. They help us constantly reevaluate our benefits and what really matters.

Competitive Compensation and Progressive Benefits

|
    • 401(k) and Profit Sharing
    • All Purpose Leave (APL)
    • Holidays (ten plus one floating holiday)
    • Pay for Performance

Crowell & Moring offers a two-tier compensation system to its associates based on preferred target billing levels. Compensation for attorneys who opt for the 2,000 billable hours target starts at $215,000. Compensation for attorneys who opt for the 1,900 billable hours target will start at $195,000. Attorneys also have the option to set their billable target lower than the 1900 billable hour target with a proportionate reduction in salary. The firm continues to provide billable equivalent credit for pro bono and certain diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership activities and also provides 40 hours of “unplug” time to ensure each attorney has a meaningful opportunity to focus on their well-being. We believe this customized approach to billable hour targets allows us the flexibility to address the professional and personal needs of our attorney population while remaining aligned with the firm’s business and client-service focus.

Crowell goes out of its way to support us, not just from a professional standpoint, but also in regards to mental and physical health. One benefit that I love is our Virgin Pulse challenge–it encourages us all to be healthy and support each other, and the friendly competition aspect makes it fun.
