- Defended Taiwanese manufacturer of electrophoretic displays (EPDs) against antitrust and unfair competition claims and other state claims in federal court.
- Defended major copier company in a federal case involving claims of anticompetitive behavior under the Sherman Act and RICO.
- Defended major car rental company in federal court in case involving claims of price-fixing in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act. Won dismissal of state law claims under California's Unfair Competition Law and Consumer Legal Remedies Act.
- Won summary judgment, which was upheld by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, for a manufacturer of utility vaults in action alleging violations of Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
- Defended major rental car company in federal court against allegations of monopolization and attempted monopolization, unfair competition, and invalidity and unenforceability of a patent.
- Obtained an award of compensatory damages as well as attorneys’ fees and costs for an accounting firm in an arbitration involving a fee dispute with Bank of America, N.A.
