Crowell & Moring's David B. Siegel Awarded DuPont Leaders Circle Award

Washington, D.C. – April 30, 2012: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that David B. Siegel, a Washington, D.C.-based partner who focuses his practice on complex litigation, toxic tort and products litigation, and counseling has been awarded a DuPont Leaders Circle Award. The annual award is given to an individual leader who embraces and promotes the ideas of the DuPont Legal Model. On April 18, the award was bestowed in Chicago at the annual meeting of DuPont.

Award recipients are chosen by previous years' award winners and a committee of DuPont staff. Criteria for selection include: excellence in the delivery of legal services and results for DuPont; selfless dedication to serving the needs of the DuPont Company; ongoing support of the DuPont Legal Model; valuing diverse legal teams and promoting the growth and development of individual members; collaboration with other members of the DuPont PLF and Service Provider Network; and active commitment to growing the business of DuPont.

Siegel is the former chair of the firm's Litigation Group. He has served as national coordinating counsel and national strategic counsel for companies with national mass tort litigations involving claims of both property damage and personal injury. Siegel also has significant experience in working with clients to improve the cost effectiveness of large-scale litigation, including the expanded use of technology to improve efficiency and use of law firm networks to efficiently manage national litigation.
