Crowell & Moring was founded by a small group of lawyers who left a large corporate firm because they believed in doing things differently. Our culture is perhaps best illustrated by the stunning fountain that stands in our lobby. It's a constant reminder not to take ourselves too seriously. The reason? Years ago, we arrived at work to find someone had left a rubber duck floating in it. Since then, the duck population has grown, along with our sense of humor.
If you're expecting dark hallways and dour expressions, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the culture at Crowell & Moring. We find that it results in smart, down-to-earth professionals who embrace the challenge of practicing sophisticated, complex law. Who value having a life outside of work. And who treat clients the way they themselves would like to be treated.
